North Muskham Scarecrow Weekend
September 27th & 28th 2008
Scarecrow competition
The aim of the 1st North Muskham scarecrow weekend, is to have scarecrows on display around the village. A trail will be on sale so that people can walk around the village and view the scarecrows.
There is no theme; its your choice. Scarecrows to be displayed between 10.00am & 4.00pm on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th. Please display your scarecrow so that it can be seen from the path (so people do not have to enter your property). Judging will take place between 10.00am & Noon on Saturday 27th. Entry is £5.00 per household. Entry forms available from Muskham Stores, Ann Willey 8 Dickinson Way, Tel 605477 or see below to print out a form
Saturday 27th
The Church will be open between 11.00am & 4.00pm where you can obtain your scarecrow trail. There will be a Tombola, Cake stall and Refreshments available. Toilets will be available in the vicarage.
Saturday 27th Adult Fancy Dress Disco.
Fancy dress optional scarecrow theme
7.30pm Midnight in the Village Hall.
Tickets £10.00, which includes a chilli supper, are available from Di Baines, Ann Willey or Muskham Stores.
Sunday 28th
6.00pm Songs of Praise North Muskham Church
All proceeds split between the North Muskham Church Toilet & kitchen fund & the New Village Hall.
