Muskham Ferry The Muskham Ferry Ferry Lane NG23 6HB 01636 704943 Howard and Liz Dodson      Excellent riverside pub with good food and real ales (usually a good guest ale available). Includes moorings for several boats, fishing, pool table, bar skittles, restaurant and games room. The Ferry runs a quiz night every Thursday and summer fishing competitions (See Events).  It also hosts darts, skittles and pool teams  Usually an excellent local ale from the Maypole Brewery Outside the Ferry     History The Muskham Ferry Once combined with the Ferry House and previously known as the Newcastle Arms (until 1976) after the Dukes of Newcastle   The Newcastle Arms (date not known). Note the low river level when compared with that of today. The reverse of the picture postcard above. I wonder if Howard would pick customers up from Newark Northgate today?
